A Scanning Receiver, to alarm and display input signals from ___________ (Specify Parameter or Parameters) at _________________(Specify Location) shall be provided and is to have a programmable alphanumeric liquid crystal display (LCD) with a touch keypad for programming and function access, capable of receiving up to 16 linear 4-20 mA input signals. The Scanning Receiver is to be mounted in a NEMA 4X wall mount enclosure or available as an optional panel mount version.
Global alarm relays grouping 4 zoned inputs shall be provided for alarm, warning and trouble and to be rated 10 amp/120 VAC / 5 amp/230 VAC. Additionally, 36-individual open collector alarm outputs shall be provided and selectable as latched/unlatched with 1 global output & 1 system fault output. An optional external relay package can be provided in groups of 8, up to 32 with connection to the open collector outputs thus providing up to 2 additional alarms per channel and to be DIN rail mounted in an optional NEMA 4X enclosure.
An RS-232/RS-485 serial communications port shall be provided along with ANASCAN software providing the ability to remotely setup channels, provide process overviews and graphic trend plotting and datalogging capacity from a separate computer. The RS-485 interface shall have the ability to connect up to 32 Scan Alarm Receivers in a daisy chained 4-wire series configuration.
Voltage input shall be self-regulating between 90-264 VAC or 12 VDC and programmable for either 50 or 60 Hz and available with an optional battery back-up unit. The Scanning Alarm Receiver shall be Analytical Technology Model C14.
